ABSOLUTE GUTTERS - DOWNPIPE STYLES
Downpipes are available in rectangular or round shapes. We suggest replacing your downpipes with the same size and shape as the existing. Some additional downpipes may be required to help with drainage. Efficiency is best achieved by having more downpipes of a smaller size, rather than fewer of a larger size. In all cases the top section of the downpipe must be replaced to ensure a leak free job, however in some cases full replacement is necessary. This can be discussed further with any of our team members.
Rectangular Downpipes
Common and cost effective downpipe style. They sit flat on the wall and provide a neat and streamlined finish. They can be used on any house type and suit all gutter types.
Round downpipes
Generally found on older or architectural homes. Round downpipes suit homes with exposed eaves fitted externally. Generally fitted with quarter round or curved face gutters. As the demand is low the cost is higher than rectangular downpipes.
