ABSOLUTE GUTTERS - RENOVATOR TIPS
Doing an exterior makeover? (Here are some tips.)
1. Pressure cleaning the roof (if applicable)
We suggest this is done first so all the dirt from your roof is deposited into your old gutters.
2. Remove the gutters and downpipes
This would be a good time to paint your fascia’s without the need to cut against the new gutter.
3. Rendering of the walls (if applicable)
You can advise your renderer that all obstructions have been removed from the wall. This will also allow the new downpipes to sit over the new render.
4. Installing the new gutters and downpipes
5. Painting or replacing the roof cover (if applicable)
This should be the last stage. Once sprayed it’s best to avoid as much roof traffic as possible. Ensure all electrical, plumbing and air conditioners have been completed by this stage.
Please note:
It is possible to replace gutters and downpipes once the roof has been restored or the walls have been rendered. We recommend the above process based on our industry experience as it will provide the best overall finish however we are able to work around your needs.
Enjoy your renovations and good luck!
